Hey Tess! Thanks for this! I tried going to my Walgreens today and the grumpy cashier wouldn't allow the Colgate toothpaste coupons b/c they rang up $0.01 OVER the amount. I am going to go back tomorrow and have someone else ring it up :) Thanks for these tips--especially the Walgreens ones--keep em coming :) Kim :)
ReplyDeletehey Kim! Did you have other things you were purchasing or was it just the toothpaste? I've found that if there is going to be any overage b/c of coupons, I make sure to get a few more things. Also, I've heard the trick is to give the manufacturer's coupon first, and then the Walgreen's coupon. I hope it works for you!
ReplyDeleteThat was just the only thing I was going to get--since the diapers I wanted to get were not the size I needed. I am going to go back today though and get the diapers--so I am going to try again. There is a woman that works in the cosmetics section who is really nice and likes me--so hopefully she'll get it to go through. I'll keep you posted!
ReplyDeleteKeep the good tips coming Tess :) I love em!!!!!!
Thanks Kim =) If you can't find the right size diapers, try getting a cheap filler item (I got those 3 Easter pencils for $1). Each pencil is $.30 so if you just get one of them, you shouldn't have any problems with the toothpaste coupon. Hope it works for you!
ReplyDeleteand you printed out the Huggies coupon from my coupons.com widget, right Kim? There are two: one for $3 and one for $5. So make sure you grab them!
