There are three cute events for kids to participate in tomorrow, and the best part is that they are FREE.

Lowe’s: Between 9 and 10 a.m., kids can participate in a Build and Grow Clinic and make a flower planter! Just register here =)

Michael’s: There are two cute events for the kiddies to participate in this weekend at Michaels. On Saturday between 1 and 4 p.m. children can make jewelry for mom at the Make it Mom Bead Event. And on Sunday between 1 and 4 p.m. children can decorate cookies. I think we’ll shoot for the cookie decoration activity seeing as how Bubba would probably eat the beads. Click here for more info =)

Our internet connection was out all day today. It's amazing how much a person can get done around the house when there is no internet! But when I was finally able to log into my gmail, I was greeted with this =)

KFC FREE Meal Update

We tried to go get 3 FREE meals from KFC tonight but were told it would be a 30 minute wait. The place was packed with people waiting! I figured the response would be huge but it was crazy! KFC realized it was more than they could handle as well, and will no longer be accepting the coupons. They will, however, issue a raincheck. This is what their website said:

"We are so sorry, but due to the overwhelming response to our FREE Kentucky Grilled Chicken™ meal coupon, we can no longer redeem the free coupon at this time. But we will honor our commitment to giving you a free Kentucky Grilled Chicken meal.

Please visit a participating KFC restaurant for a rain check form. FREE Chocolate Every Friday Through September!

We generally don't have chocolate in our house because I can't be trusted around it. Now that I'm thinking about it, I may have to break into one of those Hershey's Bliss bars I got for FREE at Target. This promotion won't be good for me. Or my hips.

Another FREE breakfast at Ikea! We have gone to the past two FREE breakfasts that they have hosted, and the food is delicious! Included is coffee, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Not too shabby! Unless of course you have a Boo equivalent who eats all your bacon, and a Bubba equivalent who eats all your hash browns. But I sure did love the coffee and eggs =)
