We are big on Little People in our house. Boo calls them "my kids" and likes to line them all up for storytime. It's cute moments like those that convince me I should keep her for at least a few more years. Tomorrow, March 21st, from 12:00 to 2:00, there will be a 50th birthday celebration at Toys R Us, and the activities include coloring, storytime, playtime, and a FREE Little People DVD.
I will be busy but I'm going to do my best to try to talk the hubby into taking Boo and Bubba. I'll let ya know how that talk goes.
Click on the cute Little People picture above for more info.
More FREE Items
I don't know about you, but we go through sippies like crazy. Either they are "lost" and then found months later jammed into dresser drawer, or broken when used as a bat in an impromptu indoor game of baseball. Clearly, there is never a dull moment at our house. If you register at Juicy Juice's website, you will receive a FREE sippy cup. I registered for this months ago and received it only 2 weeks later, so you will definitely get it, and hopefully fast.
Click here to register for your free cup!

Also, you can receive a FREE work-out towel from Self Magazine by mailing a receipt showing purchases of 2+ Garnier Fructis products. I got 5 FREE Garnier Fructis products last week from Walgreens, so I'll definitely take advantage of this. Not that I work-out ever, but hey, I could always use an extra towel to mop up the various spillages that occur.
To get your free towel, mail in your receipt to:
Self Magazine - Garnier Gift - March

New York, NY 10036
Attn: M. Catapano.
This offer expires on April 6, and is only good while supplies last.

Old Navy Coupons
Old Navy has had a "coupon game" all month where they hide coupons on Old Navy Weekly, and you search for the high value ones. In weeks past, the two big ones were $75 off $100 and $50 off $100. Because of the mass hysteria that ensued, they won't have those high value ones this week, and will resume them again in April. But this week, there are still a ton that are available to print (you can only print one)
Here is a list of the coupons and the location where they are hidden (compiled by an awesome poster at A Full Cup):
$10 off $50 - On the bottom left of the page, click on the "share site" blue box link...Then click on the DIGG icon (thanks anonymous reader!!)
$5 off $25 - Red Basketball or Blue Frisbee or Women's head at bottom in yellow circle
$5 off $50 - To the left of the woman's shoulder in the blue shirt on the top left
15% off any purchase - Click on Boys Authentic Cargo Short on lower left
10% off any purchase - "They go for a stroll" or "They do what we do" or man's blue shirt or Old Navy Weekly on top left
Click here to begin hunting! Let me know if you find the $10 off $50, or if I find it, I will update.
Deal of the Day From Schnoop.com
I've got to be honest, I wasn't sure what these were at first, but after reading about them, they are pretty flippin' neat! For $23.99, you get THREE Solar Emergency Radio Flashlights. In addition to being a flashlight and radio, they also charge any portable devices, such as cell phones, and has a flashing emergency light with a siren. They seem perfect for an emergency situation.
These suckers usually retail for $119.97. Click here for more information.

Quaker Products Deal at Target
I underestimated the coolness of this deal, especially because we go through so much cereal and granola bars each week. I'm definitely going to go back before Sunday to stock up on some more. Here's the math:
3 boxes of granola bars - $2.50 each
2 boxes of Life cereal - $2.50 each
- 3 $1/1 printable coupons for granola bars
- 2 $1/1 printable coupons for Life cereal
= $7.50 out-of-pocket
- $5 Target giftcard for buying 5 Quaker products
= $2.50 total
The internet coupons posted above can be printed twice by hitting "back" on your browser, but you are limited to two. But just print them out again at another computer and you'll get two more. Also, there are tons of Quaker product coupons from Smart Source and _____ (blanking on the other newspaper coupon insert), so you can customize this deal according to what you need. Unfortunately, this was the only deal that I had posted about that I got to take advantage of. Like I mentioned, my store doesn't usually follow the trend for sale and clearance items. But I was happy with my little purchase!
Double Coupons at Kmart 3/22 to 3/28
Starting this Sunday, Kmart will double coupons up to $2! This means that if you have a $2 coupon, it will be doubled up to $4. That's. Seriously. Awesome.
Not every store is participating in this though, so click here to look up your nearest store, and if you see a red box in the bottom left of the ad that says "Super Double Manufacturer's Coupons," then you are in luck! Also, you are limited to 75 coupons per transaction.
I'm going to scour the ad later tonight, and start finding all those high value coupons to use. Check back later!
Deal of the Day From Schnoop.com
I just recently discovered Schnoop. Basically, it is an awesome website that features a different deal every day on merchandise at closeout prices. Today it is a men's black Fossil watch for $39.99. The original retail prices is $135! I almost wish Al needed a new watch just so I could take advantage of this sale.
Edit: In my excitement, I forgot to post a link. That might be helpful, right? Click here to check it out.
FREE Kids Pizza at Uno Chicago Grill

Clearance Items at Walgreens and Promotional Code
Pepperoni Pizzas - $1.10
Tyson Anytizers - $.85
Aims Toothpaste for kids - $.35
There's a manufacturer's coupon for $1/2 Tyson Anytizers, so you could get two for $.70! These suckers are usually $3 + at my grocery store, so regardless of whether you have coupons on not, stock up!
**Edit: Also, there is a promotional code you can use at Walgreens online to receive 17% off of your purchase. It might be a good idea to stock up on diapers and/or formula! Some of the items ship for free (you will see a green "ships for free" truck), or will ship for free after you spend $50.**

FREE Breakfast at Ikea: 3/20 - 3/22

I went to Old Navy this past weekend with my 30% off coupon, but everything was pretty picked over. Fingers crossed, I will have better luck this weekend with Aeropostale. Otherwise, I'm going to need to stock up on some safety pins, or learn how to sew. Hopefully it won't come to that.

Huggies Coupons Reset at Coupons.com
These coupons came in handy last week when I stocked up at Huggies at Walgreens, and again this weekend when I got wipes at Target. At Target, the Huggies gentle care wipes were marked down to $5.29, and with a $5 coupon, those bad boys cost us a measley $0.29. Love it! Scroll through my coupons.com widget at the top right of my page to print them directly from my website

Arby's Extra March Deals
Remember my reaction to that cute ViX tote earlier today? (Did you sign up for yours yet, by the way?) Well my hubby had the same reaction when these coupons landed in my in-box this afternoon. Arby's is his third favorite place to eat, after Chick-fil-A and his mom's house. I think I come in fourth. Maybe. I hope.

More FREE stuff! If you register to become a member of Victoria's Secret Pink Nation, you will receive two coupons: one for $10 off any $35 Pink purchase, and one for a free gift. I can't be certain, but a little birdie told me that the free gift is a beach bag valued at $19.50. Don't quote me on that though. It may come as a surprise, but I am wrong from time to time. But don't tell my husband that.

FREE One Year Subscription to CBS Watch! Magazine
I love magazines but they were one of the things that got the ax when we decided to be more frugal. Sadly, my four year relationship with US Weekly had to end, but thanks to gossip sites like Perez Hilton and D-listed, I've survived. However, if someone is going to be giving me a subscription to a magazine, I would never be so rude as to turn that down! CBS is offering a FREE one year subscription to Watch! Magazine, and the free subscriptions are limited to the first 50,000 registrants. Offer ends April 29, 2009.

FREE Quaker True Delight Sample
Granola bars are my favorite mid-morning snack to eat while I chug down my second (or third, depending on the day) cup of coffee. Click here to receive a free sample of Quaker True Delights granola bar. I'll have to fight Boo and Bubba over this free sample, as they are also fans of "g-nolllllll bahs." Of course I'm kidding. I'll totally let them have a small bite before I polish it off.
FREE Redbox Movie Monday
We love movies. Prior to having kids and living the frugal life, we would buy a few DVDs a month, and go to the movies quite frequently. Because the cost of movie tickets is now the same amount as our monthly water bill, we rely on rentals. Instead of going to Blockbuster where the charge is upwards of $4, we go to our local Redbox to rent movies for $1.
If you've never used Redbox, this is how it works. You find a Redbox location in your area, pay the $1 rental fee, and then return it by 9:00 p.m. the following day to ANY Redbox location of your choosing. If you want to keep it an extra day, don't get around to watching it, or somehow lose it for a short period of time because your daughter is going through a kleptomania phase, your credit card will be charged $1/extra day. So don't worry about any exorbitant late fees.
If you join their email network, you will receive a promotion code to get a FREE rental. And if you join their SMS network, you will receive a promotion code to get a FREE rental every Monday. I signed up for that but my phone is notoriously sucky so I should get today's promotion code by Friday afternoon if I'm lucky.

FREE Campbell's Tomato Seeds
Anywho, I've been tossing around the idea of growing some herbs. I figure start small, kill small. Kidding. But I saw this promotion that Campbells is having now for free Campbell's tomato seeds, and I love it! I love the idea that I can put them in a Campbell's soup can, and hopefully, they will be moved to a pot, and then to a garden. I have the feeling that Boo and Bubba would love this as well. Well maybe just Boo. Bubba is going through a "destroy everything in sight" phase. Boys are awesome.

My Walgreens Trip - 3/15
I packed up Boo this morning for our weekly Sunday early-morning excursion to Walgreens. I wasn't able to get a lot of what I wanted but I did stock up on more diapers which we seem to be tearing through lately.
2 packages of Walgreens Premium Diapers: $9.00
(If I had the coveted pharmacy coupon book, they would have been 2/$5.00. grrrr)
Wet Ones Wipes: $1.99, w/in-ad coupon
- $.75 MC
= $1.24
My total was $10.24 and I used a $10 RR from last week, so my total out-of-pocket was $.24. I really didn't get everything that I had hoped I would but I did save $18.76. My favorite cashier rang us up, and he was raving about me to the customer behind me. He is always in awe of my savings, and last week he called me a "smart shopper." I can't tell you how much I loved hearing that because I really do work hard to try to save our family as much money as possible.
The cheapest Dove products that I saw were the bars of soap for $1.24 but of course there weren't any left. I'm hoping they will be re-stocked because all Dove products are 25% off, so that would make them $.93. You need to buy 8 to get the $10 in Register Rewards. After buying 8, your total out-of-pocket would be $7.44, so this would be a $2.56 money-maker!
I'll be stalking my Walgreens for that soap but other than that, it will be a slow week for me =)
FREE Bare Escentuals Foundation
They are currently offering a FREE 10-day foundation sample. Under this special limited-time offer, you will receive Bare Minerals SPF 15 foundation, and brush. To get the products, you can either visit one of their stores, or pay for shipping to have it sent directly to you. I just completed my order and for $4.19, I will receive a Peace and Love Sampling, and a Rare Moisturizer Sample Packet. Can't wait!
