Chex Mix Bars: Review and a Giveaway!

I am always on the search for a sweet, delicious, and healthy snack to go along with my morning coffee. I think I have found the perfect candidate!

I recently had the opportunity to sample 2 boxes of Chex Mix Bars courtesy for MyBlogSpark. These snack bars are the perfect mixture of salty and sweet, containing Chex pieces, pretzels, peanuts, caramel and chocolate. Those ingredients satisfy my sweet and delicious requirements! And if you can believe it, these bars have less than 150 calories and provide at least 8 grams of whole grain per serving! So I was able to enjoy these without feeling guilty, always an important feature in any snack I choose.

The Verdict: Chex Mix Bars are the perfect snack to satisfy my sweet tooth, and at only 150 calories they will leave you feeling satisfied but also guilt-free. One word of caution - the chocolate and caramel combination does result in a bit of a mess if left in the hands of a couple preschoolers, so this probably wouldn't be the best on-the-go snack to pack for the kids in your diaper bag. But it is the perfect snack to have while the kids are upstairs distracted by a movie, and you're sipping a cup of coffee and catching up on your hollywood gossip =)
