I try to donate blood whenever possible: it's so important and only takes about a half hour of your time! To encourage blood donation this summer (when donations typically drop to low levels), Friendly's and the American Red Cross Northeast Division have partnered up for this great promotion. If you present to donate blood in July or August 2009, you will get a FREE carton of Friendly's ice cream! This promotion is only valid in the Northeast and includes the entire states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
